By Daniel Paiz
Ideas can be fleeting during the month of April in this edition of NaPoWriMo. Sometimes there is more movement and frenetic energy to expunge, to profess out loud. Other instances, there is quiet, there is pause, there is silence. Speaking to others has benefits of socialization and community. Silence, however, can allow a reset of sorts that in some ways is a cure.
Silent Cure
Swirling in slowly growing circular motions,
kneading,
touch proceeds without clear directive,
exploring,
discovering what merges two into one,
where it balances between something else and fun.
flickers and slight glances, happenstance to be sure,
curvature unveiled as tracing does allure,
an unspoken bond is forming.
towards what, one does not know,
instead the rhythmic breathing approaches flow.
Glowing,
or perhaps fluctuating temperatures unfurled,
sands of time float by our consciousness,
as presence together slows the daily whirl.
Words become foreign amidst such silent cure.
