Recession, depression, or somewhere in between, many folks in this nation are bankrupt it seems. But that isn’t a focus on financial wealth, or assets and stocks type of currency. Rather, it’s our time. Time isn’t something one can really get back or make more of.
Time is constantly spent. One must make adjustments if they don’t want to be that kind of bankrupt. Today’s NaPoWriMo entry focuses on reminding one of that.
Time Bankrupt
When someone tells you who they are,
Believe ’em.
It seems like everything’s okay,
make one change,
all of that goes away.
Perhaps the instant persuasion
via fiber optic gratification,
leads one to really thinking,
every option out there,
is heading to your station.
Not happening,
not anywhere near you,
irresponsible finances by most folks,
when time is the currency wasted.
Chasing the wrong things
leads to warped dreams,
another chance to sit for a moment,
and reflect
on what brings one actual life prosperity.
