Blue Marble Fades is meant to remind folks that the views surrounding us are not to be taken lightly. What you and I witnessed as kids, those views are gone. What one watches today won’t be around tomorrow, not in this manner.

NaPoWriMo often times is a chance to remind folks of the simple things in life.

Blue Marble Fades

Gazing across the fields retreating before one’s eyes,

there’s a pattern of being, by breeze,

napping externally the gentle rising and falling of limbs,

a syringe of tranquility,

not absorbed in a digital dystopic dream,

instead, serene beyond silent streams whispering by,

the scene is one to hold onto for all the time.

Cherish it before you,

Embrace it as it proceeds,

Reminisce on such resplendent reminders,

that eye-openers aren’t due to caffeine and Visine.

The unease one feels,

as reality repeals,

growth outside of vaults and wallets.

Suns and moons are waning away from max visibility,

because the cosmos knows,

this planet is dulling its beauty

every day and night.

This blue marble needs to talk, humanity.
