All kinds of activities and hobbies can lend levity to a life otherwise entwined with misery or at least discomfort. There are some that make folks money, while others that take those coins and wads of paper one saves. NaPoWriMo tends to write about one particular joy because it happens a lot during April.
If you’ve bounced around this website, you’re liking picking up what I’m putting down.

Pressure Netting Joy
No scary gargoyles across that tower,
rather below is a nestling of budding flowers,
cross that bridge and desend,
so you can scamper along concrete to ascend,
to the bouncing powers and light showers.
There is levity and roominess
amongst 20,000 of your closest acquantances.

Lacking leg space not withstanding,
there’s a joy watching mini track meets
along shiny and glossy wood that otherwise
would remind us of dull commercials with names escaping.
Who knew roughly eight pounds of pressure,
brightly bounding amongst many hands,
would tie us in with the lightest breeze of
netting not focused on so much since sextants were used en masse.
