Hello everyone, and welcome back to Day 2 of NaPoWriMo 2016! Today’s poem will be short and to the point, with some potential lessons and ideas to reflect for the rest of the day, or at least until poem three is set to come out tomorrow. Today’s poem will be in haiku verse, which is 5-7-5 syllable verse. The following of is an example of said format:
Poetry is hard,
Only if you make it so,
Yet make it you did.
That is all today’s poem is going to consist of! Go home and practice creating your own haiku, and in the meantime, make sure to that you are all caught up with the NaPoWriMo 2016 poems, and go back to prior collections from 2015, 2014, etc and see what else we have come up with for National Poetry Writing Month! Until tomorrow, enjoy the remainder of your weekend, and Peace.
