Reflections (Day 13 of NaPoWriMo 2015)

Tonight’s post won’t be anywhere near how late last night’s post was. Also, something to keep in mind is that we are approaching the features we mentioned earlier this month for NaPoWriMo 2015!! Get Excited!! Plus, check out what we wrote below:

Windows are the filthiest, most evil form of mirror that there is.

These rectangular barriers

do very little to protect but

they also do a lot to damage.

One reflection out yonder

can take someone from simply gazing

upon themselves right now

to

seeing a future they never expected or

dreamed of seeing.

At least not now.

One reflection behind would

take one soul from seeing who they are now

to

observing who it was that shaped the entity before them.

That’s why windows can be construed to many as

very difficult panes to deal with.

The shards of memories that spider webs back to one

can often be

shattering and

weathering on the soul.

If you find a window that brightens and

gently precipitates memories other than those of

destruction and disapproval,

share that with everyone staring out the window,

searching for a view long removed.
