Relentless Haiku (National Poetry Writing Month Poem #21)

After yesterday’s celebration, today’s national poetry writing month entry is focusing on stuff that has rattled around these parts since the beginning. Basketball and haikus are the move, so you can likely imagine what this haiku might be about tonight; sidenote, basketball and haikus sound like a solid mixtape or album title, don’t steal that!

Being resilient is something learned from being in tough positions. Part of that is also being relentless in whatever your pursuits might be. Let’s get into that sweet 5-7-5 format.

Relentless Haiku

Fear will rear its head,

Knowing yourself will be best,

Execute the plan.
