Another week, another couple of updates from Behind The Scenes. The easiest way to describe what’s currently happening is to call it a lull, a breath before the plunge into more work.
A lot of work has been done so far, as you can see here (and at the end):
Wrapping things up on the interview side will happen with a couple of bands this week, while finalizing interviews with new voices for the piece are still being finalized.
It can be hard to nail down people who are quite busy, but persistence and patience are both key in order to get things done. Making progress is the best way to measure how things are going; it can seem like things are slow going, but as long as one is pushing through roadblocks/dead ends, things will improve.
To make a long story short, filming is about two-thirds of the way done. This means that compiling clips from the hours of video collected can commence, as well as audio bits from those same events.
In addition to starting a rough skeleton of footage captured, the written aspect can also be outlined as well. The written portion is slated to be about 1,000 words, but that could be shortened or lengthened depending on what’s used in the visual creation.
That’s about it as far as updates go this week. Things are humming along, and ideally things will begin to fall into place in the coming weeks. Be sure to check in on Thursday for another update on what’s next!
