The final week of NaPoWriMo 2021 is fast approaching already. Despite all the busy times, something that has been fairly helpful during the pandemic as well as just in general would be Twitch. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Twitch, allow me to elaborate.
Primarily used for gamers streaming their progress, DJs and musicians (among many others) migrated over to the streaming service, where they play sets of all different genres and time lengths. As a listener who prefers Hip-Hop and electronic music, there’s a whole lot to choose from. Plus, you can likely find something that will catch your attention. The following is a brief glimpse into the shenanigans of the good music twitch world.
Twitch Keeps Me Sane Sometimes
Twitch keeps me sane, sometimes
oh let me count the ways,
from doing things for the culture,
to real-world impact
via funds being raised,
for people’s unexpected life events,
or causes near and dear,
this streaming site meant for gamers,
is the real deal,
whether it’s raiding those new to the site,
or building connections lasting long,
beyond regions and borders
it’s quite a place y’all.
If you know you know,
if you don’t come find out,
Solution or Coffee Hour,
BYOB or Home Time,
there’s a million others to list and rhyme,
just hop on a stream and explore,
it’ll likely be worth your time.
Oh and make sure to
thank whoever gave you a gift sub,
tell a friend to tell a friend,
and enjoy.
