It seems like it’d be an endless task, figuring out all the ways in which one can create a haiku. NaPoWriMo always contains a handful of these because of the simultaneous freedoms and limits cause by 17 syllables. At this point in time, I challenge every single person reading this or any other kind of haiku to write their own, on any topic they wish. The only rules that apply are: five syllables in line one, seven syllables in line two, and five syllables again in line three. It might just be exactly what you need right now.
