NaPoWriMo 2021 Poem #26: Decisions Haiku

By Daniel Paiz

By now you’ve heard glowing recommendations about haikus, such as how useful and challenging they can be. NaPoWriMo is the main place to try them out. However, they’re a year round skill to practice and hone. That’s not exactly breaking news or anything; but, it is an important reminder for those of you creating or practicing or doing something you’re interested in.

Basically this is a very round about way of saying that you shouldn’t expect these haikus to go anywhere, anytime soon. Go ahead and try one out and see how you respond to the challenge of the haiku.

Decisions Haiku

Do it, go record,

Mountains of material

In your brain and soul.
