It’s quite possible that I’ve fallen in love. Now, before you release the rice, throw the doves (wait…), hear me out please. There isn’t a special someone in my life; however, there are some special words. Their measurements are 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and that all important 5 syllables. That’s right, I’m talking about the haiku. It might just be my favorite form of poetry to write, mainly because of their succinctness.
Without further ado, let’s see what today’s haiku can do for you.
Haiku Z
Zany syllables,
Succinctness is my weakness,
I love you, haiku.
